Ganbayar Makes League Debut, Scores

Image property of its owner. Today Ganbold Ganbayar made his league debut for the Puskas Akademia FC under-19 team. The Mongolian prodigy also recorded his first league goal for the club as they fell to Debreceni VSC's under-19 team 1-3 in Budapest. Ganbayar scored at the 51st minute mark after starting the second half as a substitute for Fekete Leonard Oliver to level the match 1-1. Unfortunately Debreceni added two more strikes before the final whistle to secure the win. After three matches, Puskas Akademia are now in last place in the 8-team division after recording three straight defeats. The victory moved Debreceni up to third in the table. Although a relatively unknown name before, Baljinnyam Batbold has quickly become a household name in Mongolian football after winning the Golden Boot award in Mongolia's historic EAFF Championship Round 1 run which concluded yesterday. Joma Becomes Official Kit Provider of Mongolian National Teams

Spanish sportswear manufacturer Joma and the Mongolian Football Federation revealed new kits for the Mongolian national teams during the opening matches of the 2018 men's and women's EAFF Championships. The Blue Wolves will fittingly wear a blue and white kit for home matches and another traditional color combination, red and white, for away matches. In recent seasons, the national teams have worn a combination of Puma kits and Spicer of Thailand. Joma is no stranger to Mongolian football of late as the company became the official kit supplier of Mongolian Premier League clubs Deren FC and Athletic 220 FC prior to the 2018 season.
