The Mongolian Premier League Combine that was scheduled to take place in Washington, D.C. today has been cancelled.
Combine organizers state that a lack of funds is the reason, with the Mongolian Football Federation unable to secure sponsorships.
The rest of the combine schedule also seems to have shifted, with a second previously-unannounced combine to be held in Charlotte, Virginia in mid-January.
The Mongolian Premier League Combines are organized by Tim Guercio, a MPL player and club owner, and scout for the Mongolian Football Federation. The purpose of the combines is to identify talent to fill out MPL team rosters and find dual-nationals that may be able to represent Mongolia's national teams.
