Milos Perisic Leaves FC Ulaanbaatar for Malta

On 19 January 2018 it was announced that former FC Ulaanbaatar and Erchim FC central midfielder Milos Perisic had signed for Kerċem Ajax F.C. of Gozo.

Kerċem Ajax F.C. currently plays in the Gozo Football League First Division on the island of Gozo, which is part of the nation of Malta. The league is separate from the larger and more well-known Maltese Premier League.

He was immediately available for the team's match against Qrendi F.C. the following day which ultimately ended in a 3-4 defeat.

Perisic originally signed arrived in Mongolia and signed for Erchim FC for the 2012 season. Over his six years with the club, he played a role in four league championships, three Mongolia Cup titles, and four AFC President's Cup/Cup campaigns.

He moved to fellow Mongolian Premier Legue side FC Ulaanbaatar in July 2017. Despite narrowly avoiding relegation, the team finished runner-up in the MFF Cup.

The move comes shortly after it was announced that FCUB coach Jun Fukuda left the team to manage Lao Toyota FC.

Perisic is at least the second player from the Mongolian Premier League to sign for a club on Gozo this offseason after former Ulaanbaatar City FC goalkeeper Giaccomo Ratto signed for S.K. Victoria Wanderers FC.
