Even before the kickoff, tensions were high. On social media, the debate between the "Mongolian team" and the "foreign team" was heating up, adding extra intensity to the match. While the Falcons fielded four foreign players in their starting lineup and had more on the bench, Deren relied on just two foreign players.

Around 400 spectators gathered at the stadium on this mild October day, eagerly watching the electrifying clash unfold. The pressure on the Falcons was immense, as coach Arthur Ferreira faced a sudden tactical shift from Deren. The blue-and-whites employed a defensive 4-5-1 formation, designed to catch the reactive Falcons off guard – and it worked.

Early in the match, South Korean player #37 Kim Hwi-han put the Falcons ahead in the 12th minute with a powerful header from a corner. His teammates had positioned themselves perfectly in the box, making it easier to capitalize on the chance. But this was just the start of a fierce battle.

Near the end of the first half, Deren came close to doubling their lead with a dangerous counterattack – only for the post to save the Falcons from a bigger deficit.

During halftime, Ferreira managed to adjust his team's tactics to counter Deren's defensive setup, which resulted in a strong powerplay as the second half unfolded. The Falcons dominated possession, but Deren remained a constant threat on the counter.

The equalizer came in the 58th minute when #22 Krusevac finished off a brilliant passing move inside the penalty area with a perfectly placed shot into the bottom right corner. The score was now level, and the tension in the stands reached its peak.

The decisive moment came in the 84th minute. Deren's goalkeeper S. Batmagnai made an excellent save, but as the play continued, he was ruled to have handled the ball outside his box. This led to a dangerous free kick, which #3 Tiago Tomás flicked into the net, securing the 2:1 lead for the Falcons. As the ball hit the back of the net, the Falcons' emotions erupted – they knew they had sealed the victory, and Deren, despite their clever tactics, had to accept a well-fought but deserved defeat.

The victory was hard-earned but ultimately well-deserved. The Falcons had prevailed, and their celebration knew no bounds.
