Another Mongolian playing for a big European club has been included in a national team selection. This time, it is young Bolorbold Chinguun who is part of the academy of AC Sparta Prague of Czechia's top division. Chinguun is part of Mongolia's under-15 team that is currently in China for the EAFF U15 Championship.

The 14-year-old was born 8 January 2009 to mother Dashpuntsag Oyunchimeg of the Česká Lípa region. He began his career in the academy of FK Hvězda Cheb. The club, now in the fourth tier of Czech football, had its greatest success in 1981 when it participated in the Intertoto Cup and won its group.

In 2018 FK Hvězda Cheb took part in the Martin Breibische Memorial Cup. The tournament featured the U10 sides of top clubs from Czechia, Slovakia, and Germany including Slavia Prague, FK Trenčín, and TSV Schwaben Augsburg, amongst others. Cheb finished 7th overall with Chinguun named his club's best player.

The following year Chinguun was the top scorer of the U10 Do Ma Tournament with 17 goals for Hvězda Cheb. The same year he also participated in the UEFA Grassroots youth interregional competition with the Cheb regional side. He scored multiple goals throughout the tournament.

While with Cheb's U12 team in fall 2021, he was spotted by Sparta Prague and was invited to join the club. He made an immediate impact with his new team, scoring four goals in his first five matches in the U13 league. This season he made at least 23 appearances in the U15 category, scoring at least five goals.

In Summer 2022 Chinguun was part of Sparta's U14 team that competed in two pre-season tournaments. The club finished third in the Mayor's Cup in Hradec Králové. Chinguun scored the winning goal in the team's opening match against SK Sigma Olomouc. The second tournament was played in Međimurje, Croatia and featured sixteen clubs from twelve countries. Sparta Prague finished fourth overall with Chinguun scoring against major clubs Tromsø IL of Norway and Aston Villa of England.

He was part of the Prague regional selection that won the Czech interregional competition in June 2023. He was part of the lineup that defeated the Silesia-Moravia and Pardubice regional teams in the semi-finals and finals, respectively.

Wearing #11, Chinguun made his national team debut today as the junior Blue Wolves defeated the Northern Mariana Islands 4-0 to open their campaign. He started the match and played the full ninety minutes. The midfielder was a constant threat to the NMI defense, splitting defenders and rising for headers on numerous occasions.

He and the rest of the Mongolia squad will face stiffer opposition in the upcoming matches against South Korea, China, and Macau.
