TRANSFER TRACKER: Summer 2023 (Updated)



The Mongolian Football Federation transfer window opened on 4 July. The window will close on 15 August 2023. The 2023/2024 football season will again feature fall and spring halves. The mid-season transfer window will be open from 1-28 February 2024.


Bavarians FC

1 August-Newly-promoted Bavarians FC have signed experience Turkish defender Ali Alakabak. After a long career in Turkey, he joined clubs in Albania and Thailand.


3 August-27-year-old Brazilian attacking midfielder Joao Artur has joined the club. He most recently played for Baynounah SC from Abu Dhabi.


5 August-The club has signed Brazilian attacking midfielder Garrydo. The 28-year-old spent his entire career in Brazil before joined Slovakia's Slovan Sahy last season.


Bayanzurkh Sporting Ilch (formerly Erdenes Ilch FC)

6 August- Ju-young Cha has joined the club. The 25-year-old South Korean defender has spent his entire career in Korea, mostly recently suiting up for Siheung City.


Bulgan SP Falcons

3 August-22-year-old Japanese defender Taiyo Toyoda has joined the club from NK Stubica of Croatia.


16 August-The Falcons have signed UB Mazaalai captain A. Choijamts. The player had been at UB Mazaalai for four years.


Khaan Khuns-Erchim FC

8 July- Yuta Mishima has returned to the club. He earned the league's top forward award with the club for the 21/22 season before joining Angthong FC of Thailand.


9 July-21-year-old Japanese Riku Ichimura resigns for the club. He previously played for OFK Grbalj of Montenegro.


6 August-Yushi Kawaguchi has joined the club. The-30-year-old Japanese winger has had extensive experience in Japan, France, Lithuania, Croatia, and Thailand. This will be his second spell in Mongolia after playing for Deren FC from 2020 to 2021.


Khangarid FC

23 July-Khangarid FC announce the signing of MF Purevdorj Bayartsengel. The 26-year-old featured for Khovd FC last season.


10 August-Khangarid FC have secured the return of national teamer Baljinnyam Batbold from FC Ulaanbaatar. Batbold played for Khangarid briefly in 2021 before transferring to the current champions.


13 August-24-year-old Japanese midfielder Tamon horikoshi has joined the club. Horikoshi most recently played for Kaya FC in the Philippines top flight.

27 August-Khangarid FC has announced the signing of Jo Yonemaru. The 21-year-old Japanese defender was announced as a new signing for Tuv Azarganuud in July, but they deal must have fallen through. He joins from RW Frankfurt of Germany's sixth division. He had played for two other clubs since arriving in Germany in 2022.


27 August-23-year-old attacking midfielder Shunsuke Furusho has joined the club. He most recently played for Sakon Nakhon of the Thai League 3.


27 August- Hiroya Konno, the 24-year-old winger has spent the last two years in Malta with Melita and Pieta Hotspurs.


27 August-Japanese midfielder Kenta Chiba joins the club. He has previously played for Edo All United FC and most recently a club in Jakarta, Indonesia.


Khovd FC

7 August-Japanese defender Hayato Kame has joined Khovd FC. The 33-year-old most recently played in Laos and Australia.


Tuv Azarganuud

1 July-Central Stallions have signed Jo Yonemaru from RW Frankfurt of Germany's sixth division. He had played for two other clubs since arriving in Germany in 2022. (Cancelled)


1 August-21-year-old Japanese CF Yuzuki Miyajima has signed for the club. After coming up through the Abirex academy, he eventually joined BCH Lions in 2021 and remained with the club until 2023. He returns to Mongolia after a brief stint in Armenia with Gandzasar.


FC Ulaanbaatar

22 July-FC Ulaanbaatar has signed Uzbekistani forward Sardor Matmurodov. The 28-year-old most recently played for Satdobato Youth in Nepal. He previously played in his homeland and Tajikistan.
