The following is a list of signings made by MPL clubs during the winter 2021/2022 transfer window which was open from 8 December 2021 to 1 March 2022.


Athletic 220 FC

7 January-Naranbold Nyam-Osor terminated contract with club, becoming a free agent

8 January-signed MF Otgonbayar Khantenger from UB Mazaalaynuud


BCH Lions

1 December- 20-year-old Japanese CF Yuzuki Miyajima from Identy Mirai of the Kanto Soccer League. Player spent time with Albirex Niigata as a youth.

31 December- Khatanbaatar Chinguun returns to the club after spending last season at Hungary's Puskas Akademia FC youth academy.

24 January-club re-signed 35-year-old Japanese midfielder Mizuho Saski for the 2022 season

26 January-club has signed 26-year-old midfielder Batmunkh Bayanmunkh for the 2021 season. Player spent last season with Khangarid FC.


Deren FC

3 March-B. Uuganbat returns to Deren FC. He previously played for Deren from 2014 to 2019 but has been studying abroad since then.

3 March- Tumur-Ochir Tserendovdon re-joins Deren from Khaan Khuns Erchim. The 30-year-old winger played for Deren from 2016 to 2019. He has four caps for the national team.

7 March- Deren FC signs 19-year-old South Korean defender Joon Tae-Bek. He joins from TNT Fitogether Football Club.

10 March- Russian striker Pavel Zakharov has joined Deren FC. The forward last played for Ulaanbaatar City after a breakout season with Khangarid in 2019. He was the Premier League's second top scorer with 28 goals.


Erchim FC

3 March-Erchim youth player Ganbat Battur has signed for the first team. Player spent last season on loan at Ekhres.

3 March-Ts. Temuulen has signed for the Erchim first team after spending last season with the B team in the Second League. Also previously played for Khar-Almaz.

3 March- 29-year-old Japanese MF Tsubasa Mitani re-joins Erchim. Played for the club in 2020-2021 but left in March 2021 to join National Police Commissary FC in Cambodia. Has also played for clubs in Japan, Thailand, Argentina, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic.

3 March-27-year-old Japanese midfielder Yuta Mishima has joined the club. He has previously played for Avispa Fukuoka and Tegevajaro Miyazaki in Japan and has made 125 total appearances in the country's second and third division.


Khovd FC

25 January- Japanese defensive midfielder Yuta Niwayama has join Khovd on a 1-year deal. He previously played for Kashima Gakuen High School. From 2018 to 2022 the 22-year-old played for Josai University of the Japan League 7.

19 February- O. Dorjsuren has signed for Khovd. He's previously played for Khovd Western and SP Falcons.

19 February- Khovd has signed goalkeeper T. Bilguu from BCH Lions

19 February-R. Sodnomragchaa joins from FC Ulaanbaatar

21 February- Khovd FC signs Sh. Enkhtuvshin who most recently played for Khovd Western and the Mongolian youth national teams.

24 February- Young player Temuulen joins from FC Kharaatsai

24 February- 34-year-old Japanese forward Takaya Sugasawa joins Khovd FC. He has previously played in Japan, Singapore, and Thailand. He was most recently with Viengchanh FC of Laos.

1 March- Japanese player Yudai Niwayama has joined Khovd FC.

1 March-B. Munkhbaatar joins from FC Ulaanbaatar

3 March- Khovd MF Hamed joins Bavarians FC.


SP Falcons

15 February-NT midfielder Narmandakh Artag has signed from Ulaanbaatar City. The 24-year-old has scored three goals in seventeen appearances for the national team.

28 February-SP Falcons have signed versatile defender Rosario Mattia Russo. He most recently played for Ytterhogdals IK in Sweden. He has also played for SP Herrera in Spain after spending fifteen years at Ancona-Matelica of the Serie C in his native Italy. He is 23.

5 March-Striker B. Battushig has departed SP Falcons for Bavarians FC. He previously also played for Anduud City.


Tuv Buganuud

24 February-Tuv Buganuud has signed South Korean defender Jo Yonghyun from Pyeongtaek Citizen FC of the South Korean third division.

26 February- National team midfielder and captain Tsend-Ayush Khurelbaatar has joined Tuv Buganuud.

27 February- 23-year-old midfielder Gantogtokh Gantuya joins Tuv Buganuud from UB City. He made his national team debut in WCQ against Kyrgyzstan in June 2021.

28 February- 29-year-old international defender Tsetsenbaatar Darambayar joins from Athletic 220. Previously played for Khoromkhon for over 11 years.

2 March-Mongolian national team midfielder Tsebendal Tumenjargal joins Tuv Buganuud. He most recently played for Khaan Khuns-Erchim FC. He's previously played for UB University, Unaganuud, and UB City before joining Deren FC in 2019. He has scored one goal in eight caps for the Blue Wolves.

1 March-CM O. Baasanuren departs Tuv Buganuud for Bavarians FC.

2 March-Striker N. Dashnyam joins Bavarians FC from Tuv Buganuud.

3 March- MNT defender Tsebendal Norjmoo joins from Ilch FC after spending time with Ulaanbaatar City. The 35-cap player is second on the all-time scoring list for Mongolia with seven.

3 March-11-time Mongolian Golden Ball Award recipient and all-time national team top scorer Naranbold Nyam-Osor has joined Tuv Buganuud after leaving Athletic 220 earlier in the offseason.

3 March-National team defender Batmunkh Erkhembar has joined from Athletic 220. He previously played for Erchim He has 7 caps and 1 goal for the national team.

3 March- GK Arvinbat Mendbayar and MF P. Bilegjargal have joined Tuv Buganuud on a season-long loan from Deren FC.


FC Ulaanbaatar

25 January- Club signed national team defender Bat-Orgil Gerelt-Od, previously played for Deren and UB City. Reportedly turned down larger offers to join the club.

23 February- 21-year-year Japanese attacker Ryusei Furukawa has joined FC Ulaanbaatar. He has previously played in the second-tier league in Australia and third tier of Lithuania, in addition to Khangarid FC.

2 March-31-year-old Serbian defender Jovan Zucovic has joined the club. He has extensive experience playing in Serbia and a stint in Sweden. He signed for Ulaanbaatar City for 2020 season but was prevented from joining by the COVID pandemic. Most recently with Dinamo Vranje. Spent the 2017-2018 season with FBK Balkan in Sweden.

3 March-23-year-old Serbian midfielder Nemanja Krusevac has joined the club. The player has spent his entire career in Serbia and most recently played for hometown club Sloga Kraljevo.

10 March- Japanese midfielder Akihiro Suzuki joins the capital club. The 27-year-old most recently played for Rezeknes FA in the Latvian second division.


Ulaanbaatar City FC

14 January- B. Munkh-Erdene joined from BCH Lions on 1-year deal

17 January-Goalkeeper Kh. Tsenguun signed four-year contract. Spent ten years at FC Kharaatsai.

1 February-UB City has signed B. Namsrai, the top scorer in the 1st league for the 2019 and 2021 season, to a four-year contract. He joins from Khovd Western FC. The club has also signed Kh. Taivankhuu, Best Defender of the 2021 1st League, to a four-year deal. Taivankhuu joins from Hunters.

7 February- DMU FC captain and defender S. Jambalbavuu has joined UB City on loan.

8 February- GK B. Bayarjargal signs a 1-year deal. He has played for Khovd Western for the past three season.

8 February-Japanese defender Yuya Kuriyama returns to Ulaanbaatar City FC. He previously played for the club in 2019/2020. He spent last season with Asia Euro United in Cambodia. Until 2019 he played for FC Osaka.

16 February-D. Temuulen has signed a new 3-year deal to remain at the club. He originally joined ahead of the 2019 season.

23 February-UB City signs 21-year-old Japanese midfielder Neo Tamura from the under-21 team of SC Sagamihara of the Japanese J3 League.

25 February-Following over ten years at Khangarid, national team player T. Enkh-Erdene joins UB City on a 2-year contract.

1 March- 34-year-old defensive MF Chikara Tashiro has joined UB City from Navy Sea Hawks FC of Sri Lanka. Split the 2017 season between Erchim FC and Athletic 220 FC. Has also played in Argentina, Japan, Latvia, Thailand, and Laos.
